How Ember cites information

Ember's general nutrition and training guidance follows the published guidelines and position stands listed below. When the AI coach looks something up on the web to answer a question, it shows the sources it used directly beneath its reply, as links you can tap.

Calorie and macro figures are estimates

When Ember gives a calorie or macronutrient figure for a food — in chat, in a meal suggestion, or when logging a photo — that number is an estimate produced by an AI model, not a lookup from a nutrition database. Portion sizes, preparation, and brand all change the real value. Treat these figures as approximate. To check a specific food, use USDA FoodData Central, or read the product's nutrition label.

Not medical advice

Ember provides general nutrition and fitness information for educational purposes only. Ember is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a physician or qualified health provider before starting a diet or exercise program, especially if you have a medical condition, are pregnant, or take medication.
