Ember is a fitness and nutrition app. We collect the information needed to create your account, personalize the app, save your data, improve reliability, and provide AI-powered features.

What We Collect

• Account information such as your email address and optional display name.
• Profile and goal data such as units preference, weight, height, date of birth, dietary preferences, allergies, restrictions, and nutrition goals.
• App content you create, including food logs, workout data, routines, and chat conversations.
• Usage, analytics, and diagnostic data that help us understand product usage and investigate issues.
• Sign-in email metadata needed to deliver one-time login codes.

How We Use Data

• To authenticate you and keep your account signed in.
• To save and sync your food, workout, profile, and goal data.
• To power AI coaching and chat features you choose to use.
• To send sign-in codes by email.
• To monitor reliability, diagnose crashes, and improve the app.

Service Providers

Ember uses third-party service providers to operate key parts of the product. This currently includes Anthropic for AI features, Resend for sign-in emails, PostHog for product analytics, and Sentry for crash and error monitoring.

Account Deletion

You can request account deletion from inside the app. When you do, Ember signs you out immediately and schedules permanent deletion after 72 hours. If you sign back in with the same email during that window, your account can be restored before final deletion.

Data Sharing And Sale

Ember does not sell your personal information. We share data only with the service providers needed to run the product and only to the extent required for those services.

We may update this policy as Ember changes. When we do, we will update the effective date on this page.
