Profile & goals
Ember's coaching is personal because it knows who it's coaching. Your profile and goals drive everything — targets, suggestions, and how your coach talks to you.
Your profile
Set up during onboarding and editable any time in Settings (or just by telling your coach):
- Stats — height, weight, age, and activity level.
- Dietary type — omnivore, vegetarian, vegan, pescatarian, keto, paleo, and more.
- Allergies and restrictions — Ember won't suggest foods you can't or won't eat.
- Units — imperial or metric.
Your goals
Your goal type (weight loss, muscle gain, maintenance, recomp, or general health) frames your daily targets:
- Daily calories
- Protein / carbs / fat in grams
Your coach suggests numbers based on your profile and explains why — you approve them, adjust them in conversation ("bump my protein to 160 grams"), or enter your own in Settings. One goal is active at a time. The full story is in How your targets work.
Updating things by chat
Anything on this page can be changed conversationally. "I'm down to 82 kilos", "I'm going vegetarian", "switch me to maintenance" — Ember updates your profile and recalibrates.
