Running a live workout (iPhone)
Live workout tracking is built for one context: phone in hand, between sets. It's exclusive to the iPhone app — on the web, workouts are review-and-manage only.
During the session
- Start from one of your routines (exercises and prescribed sets pre-loaded) or from an empty workout.
- Log each set as you go — weight and reps for lifts, duration and distance where that fits. Mark sets complete as you finish them.
- See what you did last time. Each exercise shows your previous session's numbers (like "3×185 lb"), so you know what you're beating without leaving the screen.
- Rest timers — a timer bar keeps your rest honest, the duration is adjustable, and you get a notification when it's time to lift again.
- Change the plan mid-session — add or remove exercises, reorder, add notes.
Your session syncs to your account as you log, so a dead battery doesn't eat your workout.
Your coach knows you're training
The coach can see and update your live session, which makes mid-workout chat genuinely useful:
- "What did I squat last week?"
- "Swap in lat pulldowns for the rows."
- "Add three sets of curls to today's workout."
Finishing — and fixing mistakes
When you finish, the session is saved to your history. Completed workouts can't be edited from the workout screens — but your coach can fix them: "that last deadlift set was actually 315, not 305" or "delete today's duplicate workout" and it updates the record.
